Ordered a plant may 5, 2020. Was not informed until several weeks later there order was delayed until 7/25/2020.
After no correspondence by 7/28/2020 and no product recieved, I called to cancel my order and request a refund. I was told 3-5 days. On 8/4/2020, after no communication and no refund recieved, I recieve an email stating the order was now delayed to 9/5/2020. The order I had canceled 9 days prior and was overdue on receiving a refund.
I called and got the run around for over 30 minutes about why it was some other, unknown company who has to issue the refund and they can't get in touch with anyone at goods mystery company. I was told this after it was CONFIRMED THE COMPANY RECIEVED MY FUNDS MONTHS AGO.
I absolutely would stay away from purchasing products from this company, you will not recieve your product and they will pass blame and promise to refund you, but you will not recieve your refund. Buyer beware.

User's recommendation: Company will not refund account. Be very careful. I've sent numerous emails with no response from company. Merchandise was never received by me, but returned by UPS to Plow and Hearth because package was damaged. However, Plow and Hearth still has credited my account, will not respond to emails. I have sent numerous emails to Customer Service. Their customer service department is the worse to deal with. They will lie just to get you off the phone with a promise that they will take care of the issue. To date, they have not refunded my account. Buyer beware.

Preferred solution: serious customer support training, offer TRUE curbside delivery where the truck driver unloads & leaves the item on the ground/curbside NO customer should be required to get on the truck to unload their order & be forced to pay + $50 to do it safely!

Prospect hill furniture breaking apart after 3 seasons
They did offer me a 20% coupon to replace the furniture! I would t buy it again, way to expensive to last only 3 seasons! I kept it inside for 7 months out of the year, definitely defective, that’s why they changed the resin on the furniture!
This company lies
i ordered 3 sets of replacement cushions for my plow and hearth prospect hill wicker deep seat couch. I ordered these products on a saturday knowing that they would not ship on a weekend so I decided to call on monday and they told me at first that they could not find my order number, then they told me that they located my order and a supervisor said that it would ship by the end of that day on Monday, well it did not ship.
Called again on Tuesday morning and now was told that they were having phone issues getting a hold of a supervisor to find out when my items would ship, Also please be aware that Plow and Hearth had already debited my bank account for over 200.00 dollars.
people please be aware that if you do business with plow and hearth that you might stand a chance of being lied to and having you products delayed in shipment ( I also paid for express 3 to 4 day shipment) They told me that it was not plow and hearth that would be shipping my cushions but it would be a third party shipping them yet i was on the plow and hearth website ordering my cushions and they were advertised as in stock. shipping will no doubt be in 3 to 4 days but it may take them weeks to ship them out.

We will never do business with them or any of their subsidiaries again. If you choose to do so, beware and have low expectations for over-priced junk.
My daughter bought a Mayfair Bonded Leather Wing Chair and Ottoman with the Christmas money I gave her in 2014. The first year was fine but beginning in the second year, the layer of leather (microscopic) began to peel away from the backing. Each year it has gotten worse as you can see from the pictures of the chair and chair arm taken last month (8/18).
After three emails and multiple phone calls--each time I was assured I would contacted within 48 hours--I finally got a claims person who said because this $500 chair was four years old and three years past the one year warranty nothing could be done. (What about the full satisfaction bit?) They did offer us a 25% discount on a new chair, but the chair was out of stock. Really! I am going to spend $400 on a chair that will only last 4 years. Yeah, right. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice shame on me.
Plow and Hearth is no longer the family founded and owned business it once was. It was sold to Evergreen Enterprises in 2010. And apparently the new parent company is not as dedicated to quality as the founders were, despite th fact that the website claims

I am sad to say I agree. I have always thought Plow and Hearth to be reputable also.
I usually order holiday greenery from LL Bean but decided to place one order from P&H. Live and learn. Once I tried to place the order and see what shipping and handling was, hoping free as other stores. I couldn’t go back for some reason.
So I just hit place order thinking there I might be able to review it but the order was “completed”. It came to almost 20.00 plus more dollars than I anticipated. Oh well My brother would receive it before Christmas. The web said 5-7 day shipping.
The completed billing page said up to 10 days due to holiday. Then they put my name on it so when it came he left it for me to open.
When I did a stink bug jumped out onto my arm. It was not really that fresh either Back to LlBean or Lands End next year.
